Burnout CEO Travel takes your privacy seriously. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We’ve written it in plain English. If anything is unclear, email us.

Who we are

Burnout CEO Travel is a trade name of JLG Ventures, LLC, a Michigan limited liability company. Mailing address: 4370 Chicago Dr SW, Box 111, Grandville, MI 49418. Contact: jeff@burnout.ceo.

We operate as part of Archer Travel, a host travel agency. When you book travel through us, certain information is shared with Archer Travel and the suppliers involved in your trip. More on that below.

What we collect

When you fill out the trip request form: Your name, contact information, trip preferences, dates, budget range, and anything else you choose to share. The form is hosted by Travefy, which is PCI-compliant and stores your information securely.

When you become a client: Travel-specific details we need to book your trip. This includes legal names, dates of birth, passport information, frequent traveler numbers, dietary restrictions, accessibility needs, and payment information. We collect only what is necessary to plan and book the trip you’ve asked us to plan.

When you visit this site: Standard web analytics including pages viewed, referring source, approximate location, browser type, and time on page. We use this to understand what’s working and improve the site. We do not sell or share this data.

When you subscribe to our email list: Your email address and any preferences you provide. We use this to send updates, blog posts, and occasional offers. You can unsubscribe at any time.

How we use it

  • To respond to your trip request and plan your trip
  • To book travel with airlines, hotels, ground transport, and experience providers on your behalf
  • To send you confirmations, itineraries, and trip-related communication
  • To send marketing emails when you’ve opted in
  • To improve the website and our service
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations

Who we share it with

We share your information only with parties who need it to deliver your trip or run our business:

  • Archer Travel, our host agency, for booking and supplier coordination
  • Travel suppliers (airlines, hotels, ground transport, experience providers, insurance providers) as required to fulfill your trip
  • Travefy, our trip planning and CRM platform
  • Klaviyo, our email marketing platform, if you’ve subscribed to email updates
  • Payment processors, when you authorize a charge
  • Professional advisors (legal, accounting, tax) as required
  • Government and regulatory bodies if required by law

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, measure traffic, and improve performance. You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Some site features may not work correctly with cookies disabled.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Ask what information we have about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information
  • Ask us to delete your information, subject to legal and contractual obligations (for example, we are required to retain certain travel records)
  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time
  • Opt out of cookies and tracking, with the limitations noted above

To exercise any of these rights, email jeff@burnout.ceo with the request. We respond within 30 days.

Data retention

We retain trip records for as long as required by law and for as long as needed to support the client relationship and our business operations. Marketing email subscribers’ data is retained until they unsubscribe and a reasonable period after.

Children

Our service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we’ve collected such information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the site.
